Wow. I feel incredibly bad for those in Manhattan. Where I am in Queens, we didn’t get affected at all. No power outages or anything. My mom and brother outside NYC lost power for a whole day. My dad on the other hand lives in lower Manhattan where there won’t be power for a bit. I convinced him finally to make his way to my place. Although it took him 3 1/2 hours to get here, I’m glad he didn’t stay there. He had no water or electricity. The “disaster victim,” as he calls himself, is here and happy. I’m just glad my family is safe. :)
