Makes me wonder who’s dorming in my old room at SVA and how they’ll like living in a closet. It was pretty flippin’ small in there and my roomie and I didn’t even have a closet (unlike the other two rooms in there). We ended up moving one of the desks out into the common area and made space that way.

I think the only benefit was the location. We were on the second floor of New Res… but hearing some idiot trying to sell pizza at 9AM really killed any sort of sleep we could get…

Actually, I did kinda like our handicap bathroom. It was pretty hilarious. We had one giant bathroom with rails along the walls and a stand in shower with no ledges, so the water pretty much got everywhere. There was even a giant drain in the middle of the floor.

But I’m hoping my new place will look better. I’m dorming in a single in the GW… Big jump from the hustle and bustle of New Res. I’m going to miss living right above the laundry room… I also can’t wait for the boyfriend to come over and help me decorate. I want it to feel like home so he’s gonna fold paper cranes with me and hang them from the ceiling like I do in my own room already. But I guess I’ll find out how it all goes this Saturday!
